Spinning Into Butter

Well I am officially half way through the run of Spinning Into Butter!
I have mixed emotions on that matter. On one hand this show has been am amazing experience and I love going in each night feeling totally comfortable and in control. On the other hand I'm ready for the next challenge. As I have said I will be assistant stage managing FCG for TheatreVCU. It's going to be a very interesting rehearsal process for me for many reasons, and I can't wait to tackle it!

My grandparents and parents were both able to come down this past weekend to see the show. They all enjoyed it! It was nice to have them come and see it. I liked to get outside opinions on the show, particularly from my dad. Obviously we got the reviews (which continue to be great!) and we've gotten comments from audience members, but my dad is one person who will always let me know his opinions no matter what. He's my biggest supporter as well as my best source of constructive criticism. He seemed to genuinely enjoy the show! Of course the highlight for everyone who sees it is the lead actress. Katie is just amazing and takes what could be very boring preachy show and makes it into a wonderful piece of theatre.

I'm amazed at the fact that my November is filled up and my December is starting to become packed already. I have a lot of things coming up. The semester is less then a month away from ending. This fall has flown by so fast, I think winter will go just as quickly. I'll be 20 soon and that is so bizarre that I can't even put it into words!

Well I'm going to write a performance report so I can go spend quality time with my friends tonight!
