I really, really need a raincoat...

Well the semester is off and running.
My schedule has already changed, but it's still incredibly laid back, so it's okay with me.
Thus far I am really enjoying Sound Design. The professor is really into the subject and that makes all the difference in the world. Business of Non-Profit Theatre starts tomorrow and I am extremely excited about that! I just hope there aren't too many budget exercises or else it will just be Production Management class all over again, just without the commercial theatre unit.

Campus is odd without some of the people I grew so used to seeing around. This is especially true of my good friend Phil (not to be confused with Phill who I am dating!). I miss being able to call him up and go over to his house when I had time to kill, or get his phone calls begging to be swiped into the dining hall. Boy's Life is full of VCU alums, so it is nice to be working with some of those guys again before they go.

I need a civilian job (as Ron would say) really badly, but without being able to work evenings I'm out of luck for the time being. I suppose when this show closes I'll be able to go out again and hopefully have some better luck.

There is so much stuff I want to get for the apartment, but being all financially responsible and junk makes me not purchase it. Boo adulthood. I'd also LOVE to get plane tickets to Orlando for fall break. I thought I was going to be able to swing it, but alas and alack, it is not in the cards.

Well, off to prep rehearsal stuff!
