Well we have the cast... pending GPA approval that is.
I am really excited for this show now! Granted I am also terrified, but excited none the less.
I found out that there is going to be a live band involved, and elements that fly in and out, and tons and tons of cues. I think this is going to be an amazing experience for me as a stage manager! If it all goes well that is. It could also be the kiss of death.
I enjoyed the audition and callback process for this show a lot. Thus far working with the directors has been great! Now granted it's been only 2 days of what will be a 3 month process, but at least it was a pleasant start!
I only have one more final project (of course it's the one I hate the most!) and then portfolio review and then I am DONE academically for the year!!!!

I have a company meeting on Wednesday night which I'm excited about, but it also means that I have a bunch of paperwork I need to do!

Yay for a great start. It always helps to not be dreading the project you're going into! Speaking of which... I should work on lighting design...
