Hey there cyber world

Well I have been wanting to start a new blog in recent months and here it is.
I abandoned xanga some time ago since the only use I had for it was to communicate with my friend Laura when we went to different schools and now that she's also at VCU, it's obsolete. I realized shortly after giving up the xanga in May that I missed being able to just write for pure fun or anger or whatever. Then my good friends/fellow stage managers Hope and Shelley started their joint venture in blogging and it really made me want to get back on board.

So here is the result. An outlet for my ramblings, frustrations, joys, confusions, and pretty much anything else.
I've titled it "Setting the Stage" because that's what I am doing in several ways. I'm a student who is gathering necessary skills to find employment in stage management. I'm learning everyday how to improve myself and expand my abilities.
Also I literally do "set the stage". So I thought it was minimally clever.

I have no idea who will ever read this, but be warned that I will write a lot about stage management. It's my passion and a very large part of my everyday life.

So that'll do for now!
