Merry (somewhat belated) Christmas!

I am currently in Pittsburgh, PA winding down holiday festivities here and preparing to head back to Virginia tomorrow.

I really love Christmas an awful lot. This year did seem a bit off however which was not so great, but I suppose it's another side effect from being separated from your significant other.

I'm not especially looking forward to 2009. I think a big part of it is that 2010 is the end of foreseeable academia for me. Being one of those "conveyor belt" kids who automatically went to college after high school was slightly ordinary, but it was predictable. Nice and predictable. Safe. This whole planned out road running out thing is odd.

Well I think it may be family Wii time!
